I am looking for something other than SunTrack. Microsoft Project appears to have nice features - but alas only runs under Microsoft Windows. My requirements are a Mac-like user interface, multi-level views of the project (sub-projects, tasks, activities), an alternate flat project view, resource leveling, good tracking, and ideally multi-user support. Also, has anyone had any experience with a tool called HP Softbench? Last, but not least, I am looking for a tool that aids in rate chart preparation and performs the projected project completion date calculation. In case terminology is a problem, a rate chart is a graph of actual vs. plan accumulated Milestones to date by reporting interval. Please respond via e-mail. Thanks in advance. Marlis G.
