It sounded good and so I was eager to get the mentioned September issue. But again, I was only 50 % lucky. You see, it is this 15th anniversary issue, and they have two big parts in it: 1. A chronical with pictures and short stories what happened in which year. There Commodore was well covered, a real plus. 2. They have that "summit" where many experts discuss about computers now and in future. And there again they nearly forgot this side of the business: From all the Commodore experts I only found Jay Miner and Chuck Peddle. The latter was cited to have helped develop some microprocessors like 6800 and 6502, but it was not mentioned that he developed also the original PET (which was the FIRST real Personal Computer with market impact on this side of the Atlantic). No other of those Great Gurus, but a big bunch of people I never heard of before, sigh. -- Best regards, Dr. Peter Kittel // E-Mail to \\ Only my personal opinions...
