I also had a bunch of problem with these programs. 
I then took the replayer.s , (I do have devpac 2), changed the filename 
inside to one of the music modules (acidtoxid, disco mix , yespart2 ...),
assembled it (ok no error), ran it and ... nothing .
It exited the program .
The program starts by checking the format of the module. As I tracked the
program step by step, one of the check failed.
Well I am trying to see what is happening in there to try to fix it and
see (well, hear) something. At least a BEEP. anything.
