Keywords: power, controller Message-ID: <27011741.ec0@uop.uop.edu> Date: 26 Sep 90 21:01:55 GMT Followup-To: poster Distribution: na Organization: University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA [138.9.200.1] Lines: 23 I currently have the following setup: Amiga 2000, 5 Megs RAM, Kronos SCSI controller, and a Seagate ST296N hard drive. I was planning to purchase a Maxtor hard drive, 200Meg or greater. I posted a request for maximum capacity information, and thank all those who replied. The max is something over 1.5 Gig, it seems. Is the Kronos controller capable of controlling the Maxtor drives, and can it handle the large capacity? I wanted to mount the drive internally, either in addition to the ST296N, or in place of it. Would the power supply be sufficient to run perhaps a LXT200S? Is there enough power supply to run two hard disks? I would appreciate any responses through e-mail. ---------------- -- ------------------------ --- Nishan Sandhar --- --- nishan@uop.edu --- ------------------------
