When I run Devspeed on my 2091/Quantum 40, I get reads in the 800-830k range, while my writes are in the 400-450k range. Talk about a big difference. The same program on a GVP/Segate combination gets read/writes in the 650k range. Oh, the 450k writes are on a freshly formatted partition as well. -- John M.
