The system is an A1000, with a Supra 4x4 interface and an original Supra box containing a Miniscribe 8425. The symptom is that after some read problems, I tried to reformat, but the format "sticks" at some point with the busy light "on". Does this sound like time for a new drive? If so, are there any drives to use or avoid with the Supra interface? Many thanks for any help. Bill Nichols CMU Dept. of Physics nichols@cmphys.bitnet nichols@fnal.bitnet wn0e@andrew.cmu.edu
