can anyone enlighten me as to how to format an amax partition using a
gvp hardcard?  the gvp scripts (in reality and according to the docs)
won't format a partition named anything other than dhx:.  but from the
amax manual and other things i've read, and from the fact that an
appropriate driver is included in the amax disk, i gather that gvp
products are supported and work.  any help would be appreciated, as
nothing on the gvp or amaxii distribution disks seems much help.

ps  of course i'll call gvp tech support as soon as i can get through,
but i have a fairly immediate need for this info if i can get it.
