In regard to that press release from Apple about sending seeded developers
for the Macintosh beta versions of System 7.0....   

Since Apple preannounced System 7.0 well over a year ago, they have been
receiving all kinds of heat from Mac users about the new system disk (which,
if I recall correctly, was "optimistically" supposed to be released sometime
in March of this year).  The Mac magazines are being to make jokes about
appearance of this vaporware; and I am sure Apple is quite agitated about the
whole thing...

Personally, I would rather just hear about it through the normal "rumor
channels", and see the final product when it's released.
