There is a switch setting, S111, that will cause the modem to speak uucp, xmodem, or kermit. When I changed the setting to 10 for kermit, I was getting very respectable throughtput, close to the theoretcal maximums for each baud I tested; however, my new problem is wildcarding. When the modem is in this kermit mode, the second or third file in the wildcard hangs until I press ^C, after which it continues on its way. This happens multiple times. Does anybody know of another unix stty I must disable to solve this problem? (I already had to set the terminal server attn char from ^A to none, so kermit would work at all).
