I noted with the recent purchase of a flight simulator, that the old atari 'switch' style joystick is not sufficient to effectively simulate a flight stick. I have noted that many of the newer flight simulators are allowing for a mouse link-up, and this type of data check might permit for the use of a variable position stick like those used on the IBM's.
