Dunno.  It works on my STe.  Maybe something was wrong during the 
download.

Yeah, the sparkling colors aren't right near the mouse; they're at 
about "2 o'clock" and "10 o'clock."  I think it's supposed to be this 
way.

But it sounds good.  :^)  I don't know about this either.  Again, 
I'll say that maybe it was the download.  Did you turn on binary 
before you ftp'ed them?  Do you have any TSRs or desk accs loaded?

NeoDesk 3.0 will supposedly have a command for this.  Otherwise, 
there are two programs I know of, AUTOSORT and FLDRSRT (Folder Sort). 
Autosort is has only room for about 20 AUTO folder programs.  I say 
'only' because hard drive users usually have more.  I even sent the 
author shareware money and asked him to add more slots.  Well, my 
check went through but no changes. :^(  So, now I use FolderSort. :^) 
It uses up the whole screen and can organize any folder on any drive, 
not just the AUTO folder.  I put FLDRSRT.LZH on atari.archive; I'm 
not sure if AUTOSORT is there.

-        o Can someone give me a comprehensive explanation of
-                GDOS? I have a copy of it but have no idea
-                what should be in the assign.sys file. Is
-                GDOS only relevant if you are running certain

Yeah, it only works with applications that use it.  These 
applications are ones that require the use of fonts, although some 
programs have their own font drivers and don't use GDOS.
