Lines: 19 I have a hard disk system that uses an ICD advantage plus host board and would like to add a tape streamer to the system. The first problem is, that I would require streamer software etc. ICD produce some software but I do not know how good this is, how I could obtain it, or how much it costs. The second problem is, what tape steamers does this or any other software recognise? (A SCSI device would be prefered.) If not a SCSI device what type of device is it (so I can arrange a suitable SCSI->XXXX board.) I know about the existance of removerable hard disk systems but in our experiance these are not as reliable and have a much higher media cost. Any help is welcome. Many Thanks, Dave Halliday (D.C.Halliday@newcastle.ac.uk)
