Can DEC's optical disc player play music CDs the way that the RS/600
optical player can?

On the same note, I'm getting ready to purchase a workstation and the 
DEC salespeople are suggesting the optical disk as a software distribution
mechanism.  Its cheaper than a TK50 and I have other backup capabilites
(Exabyte). I won't have acess to a TK50 if I go optical.  Is this a
reasonable thing to do?
