Keywords: ifconfig Message-ID: <2684@idunno.Princeton.EDU> Date: 20 Sep 90 22:35:53 GMT Organization: Princeton University, NJ Lines: 16 I'm trying to help a user install a couple of HP Series 9000 System 370 Workstations running HP-UX 7.0. Our network's broadcast address is all zeroes (specifically, 128.112.48.0) while the HP defaults to all ones. ifconfig won't let me set the broadcast addr, saying "broadcast option not supported". How can I tell these puppies what their broadcast addr should be so I can get them to function on our network? Please reply directly to me; I don't read this group. I will summarize if requested. Thanks a million. Jay Plett jay@princeton.edu
