John, I guess that you would not find too many HP3000 users here, most are
9000'rs. You should post your question in the Interex BBS: 408-773-8018 as
most people there are 3000 users.

My 3000 is a LX but not network services so I couldn't help you too much.
I will post your article at CI$, HP forum, Minis section where there are
several 3000 users.
