Otherwise right from day 1 you'll find yourself restricted. Im running Interactive Unix. I've heard problems with Micronics motherboards. Go with AMI 33Mhz board instead, since they have their own BIOS in their own board it has been known to be the most error-free board as far as running Unix, Novell and various software is concerned. That;s what I got. NEC4D is a good choice. an alternative is Mitsubishi DiamondScan16L which I bought but I don;t like now. Make sure you give enough ventilation to the hard disk as heat can be disastrous to the components. I chose all the components but watched the dealer build it for me, so I think it is pretty simple to set the thing up. So go ahead and save yourself some money on it.
