Electrical Engineering, U of Manitoba Lines: 21 I just bought a 3.5" drive. I thought it would be easy to install it, but ... it didn't work the first try. Since I don't have any manual ... I have two questions 1. How can I assign the drive number (A, B) to the drive ? Is it done by setting some switches on the drive ? or is it done by setting some switches on the disk controller ? Can I use one disk controller for 2 drives ? (My other drive is a 360K drive :-( :-) 2. Is there any "standard" in setting these switches ? (I don't know the brand of the disk controller, but the 3.5" drive is Epson SMD-400) thanks, -- Budi -- Budi Rahardjo Electrical Engineering - University of Manitoba - Canada
