I would say the picture was about as good as the Apple Color Monitor. However, I brought up a program which had some blue lines in it, and they fairly jumped off the screen! I guess Seiko isn't kidding when it says it has brighter colors - I saw them, and agree. I personally have a Sony CPD-1304/HG monitor, and I am VERY happy with it. It is also cheaper than the Apple monitor (around $650 discounted), and is multiscanning and has a nice etched non-glare surface.
