There's nothing wrong with Syquest drives, I've used them with a number of different hard disks including Rodime, Quantum, Seagate & Imprimis without any mishaps. I must say, however, that I think there is something screwy with the Mac II SCSI, and nobody at Apple Australia's tech support could explain why I only need one terminator at the end of the SCSI chain. e.g. Mac II ---- Quantum 120S ---- Archive Tape Drive ---- Syquest (terminated) (unterminated) (unterminated) N.B.
