I say this tongue-in-cheek of course, but I really have to wonder why anyone would decide to just throw away one of Apple's competitive advantages vis-a-vis Windows: the bundling of a complete personal development system with every computer sold. Contrast this with ToolBook, or whatever it's called. It really seems that this move can only hurt Apple and help Microsoft. I've got an MBA, and as much as I'll defend Apple, I'm really left somewhat bewildered by management decisions during the last 2 years. Thanks for forwarding it on. No one blames the engineers.
