Message-ID: <10917@life.ai.mit.edu> Date: 22 Sep 90 18:35:27 GMT Sender: news@ai.mit.edu Reply-To: sbchanin@ai.mit.edu (Steven Chanin) Organization: MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory Lines: 27 When I examine my hard drive with Disk Express II, it shows two areas which have anchored files. One is Virtual's swap file. I don't know what the other file(s) is/are. I'd like to find out so that I could temporarily move them to floppy because its/their present position screws things up for DE II's defragmentation algorithm. Does anyone out there know how I can find out which files are anchored? I'm running System 6.0.5 with Finder 6.1.5 and the following inits: Gatekeeper AID Gatekeeper Virtual Desktop Manager Disk Express II On Cue QuickKeys SuitCase SuperClock! Complete Undelete Pyro 4.0 Boomerang Remember? but the anchored files still show up as anchored if I boot from a floppy, so I don't think the system configuration is particularly relevant.
