I have been using retrospect to copy them all into an intermediate archive which then can be dearchived to complete the copy, but clearly this is a less than optimal approach. Has anyone else run into this problem, and what utilities are available which provide an alternative to the finder for this purpose. I tried disktop 4.0, but it seemed to take an extremely long time per file from the start. Thanks for any assistance, -Fred schulz@uh.edu
