While chatting with the SAS sales rep for Oregon, Todd Vaughan (714-852-8550),
I happened to ask about the progress on a port of SAS for the NeXT.

He stated that it looks like SAS will be available for the NeXT sometime 1st
quarter '91. (Also, for those of you non-disclosure types, he explicitly okayed
mentioning this on the list. :-)) 

Pricing information isn't available yet, but I think this is excellent news, 
personally!
