One thing that stands out: they did a excellent job of incorparating color into the NeXTStep look: they use it only inside of graphics windows and icons. I'm glad they realized that _having_ 16 million colors doest mean that _every single thing_ on the screen _should be_ 16 million colors. No purple menus here, no way.
