Hello, this is my first posting on the net which I have to be quite useful

Perhaps someone can clue me in to a daemon that I am not familiar with.
We have a 320VGX with 3.3 OS.  I just noticed a popd daemon as well as
a popd.c file in /tmp.  The popd.c file is a C program, but what is it doing   
in /tmp?  I am not having any problems with the machine, but I am curious 
about this POST OFFICE PROTOCOL daemon.
