I'm fairly sure it didn't do this when new. I'm using the command mount -r -t hsfs /cdrom /dev/sr0 which usually gives me a workable mounted system after the error message. Sometimes, though, it complains that /cdrom: file system full and you have to unmount and retry the mount. Anyone have this problem? What does it mean?
