R-> I'd like to know whether it is possible to print from a PS-2 (or R-> similar IBM compatible machine) to an Apple Laserwriter.... R-> I've seen it done via a TOPS network, but I'm wondering if it R-> could be done more directly. R-> Thanks R-> henderson@cup.portal.com I've set an old Laserwriter to run from the COM port of PCs (ZEOS, Compaq and PC XT). All I had to do was connect the cable, set the com port using MODE, and make sure the Laserwriter was set for the right baud rate. No sweat, as far as I could tell. Unless the PS/2 has a weird comm port... -- Chuck Fairchild at The Black Cat's Shack (Fidonet 1:109/401) Internet: Chuck.Fairchild@p18.f519.n109.z1.fidonet.org UUCP: ...!uunet!blkcat!519.18!Chuck.Fairchild
