	Hello,

i got the file chinese.tar.Z from washington and tried to
create the fonts with metafont. But Metafont (2.0) don't
like the '.mf'-Files of this distribution. After removing
all '^M' at the EOL it typed out the error ' .. isolated
expression ... ' . Because i'm only using metafont, it was
for me only possible to correct the first error.
in song10.mf stood 'fontidentifier "SONG10"' and after
looking to cmr5.mf i corrected it to 'font_identifier:="SONG10"'.
But then there were other errors. So Metafont don't like the
lines wich begins with 'subroutine ...' .
It would be nice, if someone who knows Metafont well could
look to this Files (perhaps the author?).
