How do I make it coexist with (say) smartdrv.sys? If I just load smartdrv.sys in config.sys, tex doesn't like it, saying he doesn't find 1.3M of contiguous extended memory to live in (and he's right, I guess). The answer would be to get smartdrv.sys (and ramdrive.sys too, ideally) use memory further up in high memory.. is this possible? Has someone written a device driver which merely takes up memory at config-time but fools applications into thinking they have clean space? How does one get Windows 3 to show an application 1.3M of extended memory?
