As long as we're on the subject.  I'm using dvi2lj (Zaid).  It has the
annoying habit of sending \special{xxx} to the shell.  THis doesn't work
very well with eepic stuff.  Is there a DVI driver for the laserjet that
handles the specials used by EEPIC?
