These companies produce multi-product database platforms at multiple release levels. Some or all of these products may not be available for the release you are referring to. As far as I know in the UK at least the following products are available for A/UX II. Informix: SQL 4GL RDS/ID ESQL/C C-ISAM (Wingz) (A notable exception here is OnLine - guess they are treating the Mac as a networked db workstation) Ingres: Release 5.0 Full DBMS product set. (I have only seen 5.0 on A.UX 1.1. Anybody seen the much improved Release 6 product) Oracle for Macintosh. (Everything done via Hypercard. If you have SQL*Forms applications to port - forget it) The following are rumoured to be ported but still seem to be unavailable. Oracle: 5.1 (Lets hope we can get 6.0 ported and shipping soon ..) I have no idea about the rest Unify 2000 / Accell Sybase The above is all I know or have heard. If anyone has information on more recent developments that I have not mentioned, please let me know.
