I have not been able to get this to work either. I sent some e-mail to coolidge and he said that he had not actually used any of this X11R4 build from the same Mac that it was started from (He's running clients over a network). I tried xinit and X11 and X and the best I'v been able to do is get a blank X background with a cross mouse cursor. I tried linking /usr/bin/X11, /usr/include/X11, and /usr/lib/X11 to the /usr/local locations where the Xreadme instructions say to put everything...no luck! I could use some help on this too!
