Message-ID: <1990Sep22.223457.16016@midway.uchicago.edu> Date: 22 Sep 90 22:34:57 GMT Sender: news@midway.uchicago.edu (News Administrator) Reply-To: max@spam.uchicago.edu () Organization: U. Chicago Computer Science Dept. Lines: 14 Actually, I don't need a full-blown file system; I'd settle for operations enough for me to make and delete directories and add and delete files. I'd even settle for a good tape archive program. tar(1) would just about do if I could get the "r" option to work. I have a sun 4/110 with an exabyte drive (I really want to store hundreds of Meg on this thing), and the "r" option doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestion or pointers?
