I downloaded the epoch.tar file from sequent.kent.edu to run on my
ESIX rev D running an X11 terminal as a server through the
network. 

I am using MWM as the windows manager. When running epoch or the
version of emacs that came with the distribution, I noticed that
nothing happens. The system doesn't crash, doesn't hang, but nothing
is happening. What am I doing wrong?
