A new user usually has a few dozen basic questions about how things work, mostly with regard to the various init files and basic client programs. What I have in mind is something fairly brief, and designed just to get a new users going. While there is no shortage of X documentation, most of it is at a fairly detailed level. Thanks! -Dave
