Start with "X Window System Programming and Applications with Xt: OSF/Motif
Edition" by Douglas Young, published by Prentice Hall.  Then Get the OSD/Motif
Programmer's Guide and Programmer's Reference, also published by Prentice Hall.
Depending on how mu Xlib you'll be using, also get the X Window System, 2nd
edition, by Scheifler and Gettys, published by Digital Press.
