I am the computer applications instructor at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind. I have been wanting to get some decent speech synthesizers for the three PC's we have in our lab, but as with most schools of our kind, funds are limited. What do any of you know about the functionality of the Speaqualizer, which can be ordered from the American Printing House for the Blind? Can it be used with off-the-shelf software, or can it only be used for specially adapted programs (as with the Echo on the Apple)? Does it provide for only review mode uses, or can it be used interactively? Your advice on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!128!13!Bonnie.Snyder Internet: Bonnie.Snyder@f13.n128.z1.fidonet.org
