I expect that it would fit where a modem there are two that are widely used for the toshiba series of machines one is called the accent board and the other is the sounding board l.t. both have marginal speech quality that is a vary subjective analysis from me because I don't like the ssi 263 chip used but anyway in the toshiba there is a slot called "the user expansion slot" on the rear pannel and these boards slide in there. that does not deprive you the use of an internal modem which goes in another place on the 1200hb hope this helps tandy ...
