A friend and I have built a subwoofer system and are having trouble determining the best type of crossover to use. It should definitely have a crossover point below 150 Hz and preferably have at least a 12 dB/decade rolloff. It should also have a power handling capability of at least 200 Watts if it is a passive design. We have looked for articles and advice for a while and I have decided to give the resources of this bboard a chance. We would prefer an active crossover, but if we get a good passive design, it is not out of the question. If anyone has any schematics or suggestions, please contact me. Thanks Chris Lane cl2n@andrew.cmu.edu
