My name is Stephen Reinert. I am a historian of late Byzantine and early Ottoman history, and am studying the inter-relations between Byzantium and the Ottomans during the late 14th century, especially the reign of Yildirim Bayezid. At Rutgers I teach a course in classical Islamic history, and so I am very interested in the age of the Prophet (whom I respect), and the early empire (Umayyad, Abbasid). Can you tell me if there is a Macintosh version of "instant computer based access to the complete Quranic text in English", or anything similar? Also, is anybody assembling a computer based access to hadith? Thank you. Stephen Reinert (SREINERT@zodiac.rutgers.edu) END MESSAGE TEXT------------ Please post the info on the net so that everybody can use it. Thanks.
