And on Oct. 1, NPA+7D will be required (1+ optional) for local calls in DC area which cross NPA lines (Pentagon is being switched from 202 to 703, with 202-694 becoming 703-614, and with other Pentagon prefixes unchanged except for area code). (202-694 can NOT move to 703; 703-694 is already used, at Stuart, Va.)
