Hello,

last night we had in West and East Germany the reunification.  At midnight the
German flag with its colors "black, red and gold" was set to symbolize the
United Germany.  It was a beautiful feeling for me and I would like to mention
some of my thoughts:

1.      I am happy to live in a democratic country

2.      We Germans have to face what happened in the Holocaust
        and have to prevent this in future with all our efforts

3.      The unification of Europe is our next aim

4.      We should never forget that the Allies gave us the opportunity to
        develop the rules of democracy after the second world war

 5.  I say thank you to all politicians who are dealing with this task,
        especially the American President Mr. J. Bush and the USSR President
        Mr. Gorbaschow

6.      Thank you net-user, that we communicate and can learn
        from each other, understand each other and educate each other
