Many thanks for the assistance for all who replied by E-MAIL. 
For anyone else who is looking for the Simple Raster Graphics Package
(SRGP) as taught in Computer Graphics-- Principles and Practice
(Foley, van Dam, Feiner, and Hughes, Addison-Wesley, 1990,
2nd Edition), it _is_ available via anonymous ftp from Brown University:

(Likewise, sphigs.tar.Z is also available in the same directory.)

The UNIX and MAC (C versions) of SRGP currently available is v0.9c, dated 
28 August 90.  Additional information is that there will be another
(formal?) release from Addison-Wesley around the first week or two of October.
Preliminary indications indicate that the cost for students will
only be $14.95 for this version, which presumably includes some documentation.
