The animal does exist. In fact, IBM is now supplying one for use on the PS/2 (I don't know if it runs on a non-PS/2). Packages are also available from the folks at Micro-Focus, and will run on all MS-DOS/PC-DOS compatible machines. There is also a Shareware version written by an ex-IBM systems programmer type, which I have a VERY old (3 or 4 years) version of, but it does give his name, mailing address, and phone for the latest version.
