A message in this group from another happy FRED user (FYI: FRED is the 
editor of Macintosh Allegro Common Lisp) reminded me of a question I 
wanted to ask in this group:

Does anybody have any good extensions to FRED, or a pointer to a ftp site 
where I may find some?  For instance an implementation of the keyboard 
macros of emacs or a smart replace function.

FRED is so easy to program - there must be some really useful extensions 
out there!
