Does anyone have any advice for someone potentially interested in having on the order of 25 machines concurrently running common lisp? What are the tradeoffs? Are the symbolic programming environments that Allegro, and Lucid have worth it? Primary machines would be Sun 3/50's Sun 3/60's and Sun 4's. How compatible are the ports from the same vendor to different machines (e.g. DECstations?, NeXt, etc.). What kind of resources are required to run each of these brands with CLOS, and an X window environment at the same time? What if we throw in an SPE? __ _ _ _ __ _ / ) / ' ) ) ) / ) / // / / / __. , __o __/ / / / / /_ _ // /___/> __ _, /__/_(_/|_\/ <__(_/_ / ' ( o (__/ / /_
