I am interested in any information on imaging software and hardware.
The target environment is a PC (Personal Computer) capturing images
and storing them on a unix box.  The unix box would have DBMS software
which would keep track of everything.

I am also open to ideas and suggestions.  In simple terms I want to be
able to take a picture, frame grab it and store it.
