One of the comments on the recent ICMC mentioned "Dannenberg's beam search
beat tracker".  Since I am experimenting with ideas to track the tempo of 
live performers, this is probably something I should know about.  Does anyone
know whether the material presented at the conference was published in journal,
or can anyone give me a short description of the ideas he presented?
