I just compiled it (with ACK and C68) and in both cases had runtime errors: either bad assertions from malloc or misalignment errors. I guess I have to apply the posted patches to the library to use GCC and try again ... 2) I have problems using kermit (and zmodem) with the campus computer. I think what is happening is that the network I tap into uses 7 bits (at least somebody who is supposed to know told me that). If I use kermit from TOS I don't have problems (but zmodem does), but I can't transfer files when using MINIX. Is there a way of telling kermit to use 7 bits instead of 8? And is that the solution to the problem? Thanks in advance again! Francisco Figueirido e-mail: tasayco@phoenix.princeton.edu
