Excuse me if this is out of date ... I couldn't find original posting
... but, in case the individual in question (or others) *still*
hasn't gotten a copy of 4DOS ...

I have the most recent copy of the "Shareware Express" catalog in
front of me.  They sell 4DOS for $4.95 on 5 1/4 disk, or $5.95 fo 3 1/2
disk.  Not that I want to advertise anybody, but their number is
800-346-2842 (CA 714-367-0080).

I normally wouldn't do this, but some people (myself included) don't
have a modem, so BBS's are out.  FTP is not available everywhere.

You might also investigate computer magazines for other Shareware
companies.  Call everyone with an 800 number.  You can probably beat
this price.  But, you now have at least one *for sure* source.
